Winter trees

I have been reading lots of blog posts about the terrible weather people are experiencing in the northern hemisphere.    I hope spring arrives for you very soon.

I took these photos one year when I arrived in the UK from Australia late one March.   I left the tail end of an Aussie summer to experience 7 deg. temperatures when I got off the plane at Heathrow.   It was a shock to the system but I found beauty in the bare trees silhouetted against the sky in parks and gardens.

  1. When I moved here I went from snow in OZ (I lived in one of the few places that saw a bit of the white stuff each winter) to 40 degree heat in Vancouver. I knew it would be hot, intellectually, but the moment I walked out of the nice air conditioned airport terminal, I nearly keeled over. 😀

I took it down – I was having a moment then thought twice about sharing it. Mostly this blog has been hiccup free- that post was the only blah moment to date but enough to make rethink just where I’m going with the blog. Friday was a funny day – a lot of people I know had similar moments.

I love hearing what you think
